Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Cancel Desk (cancel.klairlabs.com), operated by Klair Technology Solutions Private Limited (Klair Labs), Hyderabad, India . By creating an account or configuring a flow, you agree to them.
Cancel Desk is a workflow tool for collecting a reason and optionally presenting one save offer before a customer cancels. It is not legal advice, and using it does not by itself make your cancellation process compliant with consumer-protection law. One correction worth being precise about: the FTC's 2024 "click-to-cancel" rule was vacated in full by the Eighth Circuit in July 2025 on procedural grounds and is not currently in force — a replacement is being drafted, with public comments expected around April 2026. That does not mean the underlying obligations went away: ROSCA, Section 5 of the FTC Act, and roughly 30 state auto-renewal laws were never affected and remain fully enforceable today, and any replacement rule is likely to land on the same principle. By design, every flow built on Cancel Desk always ends in a working path to actually cancel — burying or blocking cancellation is both against the point of the tool and the kind of pattern that ROSCA and FTC Act Section 5 already reach, rule or no rule. You are responsible for configuring your flow (and your own account/billing system) so that cancelling is genuinely no harder than subscribing was. If you're unsure what applies to your business, talk to a lawyer. Legal/regulatory claims in this box last reviewed 26 August 2026 — see the full rundown and sources.
1. What the service is
Cancel Desk gives you a hosted page to put behind your own "Cancel subscription" button. It asks the customer why they're leaving, optionally offers a pause or a discount, and — whether they take the offer or not — records the outcome and emails you so you can act on it (apply the offer, or actually stop billing).
2. Accounts
There are no passwords — you sign in with a one-time link emailed to you. You're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us immediately at hello@klairtech.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
3. Plans and billing
- Free — up to 25 sessions recorded to your dashboard per calendar month, no card required. Past the cap, the flow keeps running in full and notification emails keep sending — only dashboard history/analytics for that session are skipped. Cancelling a customer's subscription is never gated by your plan.
- Pro — $29/month or $290/year: unlimited recorded sessions, up to 5 flows, your own logo and colour, full history and CSV export.
- Premium — $59/month or $590/year: everything in Pro, plus a different save offer targeted per cancellation reason, and up to 20 flows.
- Billed in INR through Razorpay at a fixed exchange rate shown at checkout; the amount you're actually charged is what Razorpay's checkout displays, not a converted estimate.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing section of your workspace; you keep paid access through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't currently offer refunds for partial periods.
- Prices may change with notice on this page; changes apply to your next billing cycle, not retroactively.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are the data controller for your own customers going through your flow — Cancel Desk processes that data on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy. Applying an accepted offer, and actually stopping billing on a cancellation, is your obligation — Cancel Desk records the outcome but does not touch your billing system for you.
- You won't configure a flow designed to obstruct, delay, or add unnecessary friction to cancelling — that defeats the purpose of the product and is likely to violate consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction regardless of what Cancel Desk itself does.
- You won't attempt to resell or sub-license access to the product itself.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the product name and any branding you upload — don't impersonate another business.
5. Availability
We aim to keep Cancel Desk available and will try to give notice of planned downtime, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Your own cancellation page (configured as the completion URL) is the fallback if our hosted flow is ever unreachable — don't rely on Cancel Desk as the only way a customer can cancel.
6. Termination
You can stop using Cancel Desk at any time; email hello@klairtech.com to have your account and its data deleted, per our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates section 4, or that we reasonably believe is being used for abuse or fraud. Once your flow link stops working, update your app's cancel button to point at your own cancellation page directly.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Cancel Desk is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klair Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a regulatory finding related to your cancellation process or a dispute with your customer — these depend on your own configuration and business decisions, which the service supports but does not make for you. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cancel Desk is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (which is $0 on the Free plan).
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date at the top and, where practical, notify account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled in the courts with jurisdiction over Klair Labs's registered location , unless local consumer-protection law gives you a right to a different forum.
