Drop a hosted cancel flow behind your existing "Cancel subscription" button. It asks the real reason, offers a pause or a discount once, and always ends in an actual cancellation if they still want one.
Point your existing cancel button here instead of straight to your billing portal.
A short list of real reasons — the ones your own support team keeps hearing — not a vague feedback box nobody fills in.
A single pause or discount offer, or none at all if you'd rather just learn the reason. No dark patterns, no repeated "are you sure" loops.
Decline the offer and the cancellation completes — sent to your own cancellation page, or recorded and emailed to you to action. Either way, nothing gets stuck.
Two customers, two different reasons, two different outcomes. Both recorded against the live product.
Start with one flow and the reasons you already know matter. Add what a bigger catalogue or a sharper save strategy needs, when you need it.
One flow per product — up to 5, each with its own reasons, offer and branding.
Your logo and colour on the cancel page, byline removed — it reads as your product, not a third-party tool.
Show a pause to "not using it enough," a discount to "too expensive," and no offer at all to "found an alternative."
For a real portfolio of products, each with its own save strategy.
Plug in your own numbers. We're not promising you a save rate — nobody honestly can before you've run it — but here's what different outcomes are actually worth.
| If you save | Customers/mo | Revenue retained/mo | Pays for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10%illustrative | 2 | $100/mo | 1.7mo of Premium |
| 25%illustrative | 5 | $250/mo | 4.2mo of Premium |
| 40%illustrative | 8 | $400/mo | 6.8mo of Premium |
These are illustrative scenarios, not measured results — we don't have a save rate to report yet, and won't invent one. Plug in your own numbers above to see what any given save rate would actually be worth to you.

Most tools in this category are sold as an annual enterprise contract with a sales call to get a price. Cancel Desk is the self-serve tier below that — start free, see the price on the page, upgrade with a card.
Legal/regulatory claims on this page last reviewed 26 August 2026 — see the full rundown on where cancellation regulation actually stands.
No. Every flow ends in a working path to actually cancel — declining the save offer completes the cancellation immediately. We build it this way because "cancelling should be no harder than subscribing" is the FTC's own stated reading of the law, not just a slogan. Worth knowing: the FTC's specific 2024 "click-to-cancel" rule was vacated by the Eighth Circuit in July 2025 on procedural grounds and isn't currently in force — a replacement is being drafted, with public comments due around April 2026. ROSCA, FTC Act Section 5, and roughly 30 state auto-renewal laws were never affected and remain fully enforceable, which is why we design this way regardless of which specific federal rule is active this year.
We record it and email you immediately. You apply the pause or discount in your own billing system — Cancel Desk doesn't touch your billing directly, it's the front door that captures the moment and the reason.
You can point your existing "Cancel subscription" button at your Cancel Desk flow link instead of straight to your billing portal. If you set a completion URL, customers who decline the offer are sent there to finish; otherwise we record the request and notify you to complete it.
No. Cancel Desk is a workflow tool. It doesn't replace legal advice on cancellation-law compliance in your jurisdiction — for that, talk to a lawyer.
