What shipped, when, in reverse-chronological order. The product launched on
26 August 2026, so this history is one day old — every entry below carries its real date
rather than a backfilled spread. Changes to prices, claims, and legal facts get their own
record in the legal changelog.

Trust hardening: audit log, retention, backups, and a legal/facts audit
- Audit log — a new Audit tab in the dashboard shows an append-only trail of account
and flow actions. Free workspaces see the last 30 days; Pro and Premium see full history.
- Data retention setting — choose 6, 12, or 24 months, or forever, in Settings. The
automated purge job is built but not yet switched on — the
privacy policy states this honestly rather than claiming it
runs.
- Point-in-time backups enabled on all Cancel Desk tables — restore to any second in
the last 35 days.
- Legal and facts audit — corrected the FTC click-to-cancel status sitewide (the 2024
rule was vacated in July 2025 and is not in force; see
the full rundown), removed unsourced statistics and
stale competitor claims, and published the legal
changelog recording each correction.
- Comparison table on pricing — every plan, every limit, in one table.
- Product-demo videos on the homepage, recorded from the live product — one session
that ends in a save, one that ends in a completed cancellation.

Cancel Desk launched
The first release, live at cancel.klairlabs.com:
- Hosted cancel flow — reasons → one offer → always completes. Declining the offer
finishes the cancellation immediately; the flow is never blocked, on any plan, at any
volume.
- Merchant notification emails the moment a session finishes — saved or cancelled.
- Dashboard — sessions, reasons, and outcomes, with CSV export on every plan.
- Pro and Premium billing through Razorpay, self-serve, cancellable from the Billing
tab.
- Custom branding (Pro) — your logo and colour on the cancel page, byline removed.
- Reason-targeted offers (Premium) — a different offer per cancellation reason, or
none for reasons where an offer would just be friction.
- Developer API v1 — build your own cancel UI against the same backend; see the
API docs.
- Outbound webhook on session finish, HMAC-SHA256 signed
(
X-CancelDesk-Signature) so your endpoint can verify the payload came from
us.
