Accessibility
Cancel Desk aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page says what's actually in place, what hasn't been verified, and which page matters most.
The priority surface is not this website — it's the cancel flow. The public cancel page is the one your customers see: people who didn't choose Cancel Desk, on whatever device and assistive technology they use, trying to do something they have every right to do. If a customer cannot operate the cancel flow, that is an accessibility failure and a blocked cancellation — the exact thing this product exists to prevent. We commit to keeping that page operable by keyboard, correctly labelled, and readable at AA contrast as the first accessibility priority, ahead of any marketing or dashboard page. A barrier report about the cancel flow jumps the queue.
What's in place today
- Reduced motion is respected. With
prefers-reduced-motionset, the homepage's animated walkthrough stops cycling and the product-demo videos don't autoplay — you press play yourself. - Form fields are labelled, and interactive controls carry accessible names (including the video play buttons and the demo recordings' descriptive labels).
- Keyboard operability: the public pages and the cancel flow are built from native links, buttons, and form controls, which work with a keyboard without custom scripting.
- Dark mode follows your system preference (with a manual override in the app), with a palette defined for both schemes rather than inverted automatically.
- No JavaScript required to read: every public page's content is present in the HTML and readable with scripts disabled.
What we haven't done
No formal accessibility audit — internal or third-party — has been performed, and we have not verified every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion. "Target" above means target: built with these practices, not certified against the standard. We won't claim a conformance level we haven't tested. When an audit happens, this page will say so, dated.
Report a barrier
If anything on Cancel Desk — especially a cancel flow — is hard or impossible for you to use, email hello@klairtech.com with the page and what happened (the assistive technology and browser involved helps, if you know them). We respond within 5 business days, and fixing a genuine barrier in the cancel flow goes to the top of the list.
